Work Group

The NVFC Health and Safety Work Group consists of staff and Board members from the NVFC and professionals from health and safety-related organizations. The Work Group meets twice a year and provides oversight for and review of the Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program.

Fire Department Safety Officers Association
The Fire Department Safety Officers Association (FDSOA) was established in 1989 as a nonprofit association, incorporated in Massachusetts. Its mission is to promote safety standards and practices in the fire, rescue and emergency services community. It is the association dedicated to the issues that affect the critical role of Safety Officers in protecting and promoting the safety and health responsibilities they have to their department, their community, and themselves.

 International Association of Fire Chiefs

NVFC Health and Safety Committee
