NVFC Releases 2010 Trade Show Schedule |

Visit the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) this year at one of ten fire service trade shows across the country. The NVFC will be bringing its interactive Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program exhibit booth to six state conferences and will feature all of the NVFC’s programs at four national shows in 2010. At each of the state shows, the Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program booth will include several interactive components designed to encourage health awareness and motivate attendees to focus on their health. These include blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, a fitness component utilizing the Wii Fit, and information and resources for living a heart-healthy lifestyle. The NVFC booth will be at four national fire service shows, providing information and resources from Fire Corps, the National Junior Firefighter Program, and the Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program to tens of thousands of first responders. Visitors to the booth can also learn more about the NVFC’s legislative priorities and advocacy efforts.
