The National Volunteer Fire Council’s Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program and Fire Engineering have partnered to bring you “The Heart Healthy Tactical Firefighter” webcast. Register now to attend the live webcast on October 5 at 1:00pm EDT (10:00am PDT).

The webcast is hosted by Erron Kinney, firefighter and former NFL Tight End for the Tennessee Titans. Kinney has been involved in the fire service since age 13 and now travels across the country speaking to fellow firefighters on safety, health, and fitness.

The webcast will last approximately one hour. Attendees will be motivated and empowered to combat their risk of heart disease and improve their overall physical readiness. Topics covered include:

  • Heart-healthy initiatives to become a physically ready tactical firefighter
  • Preventative measures to maintain a healthy lifestyle
  • How to participate in regular testing and scanning
