Reminder: Follow the New NVFC Health and Safety Blog

Since 2003, the National Volunteer Fire Council’s (NVFC) Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program has offered news, information, and resources through its web site, e-newsletter, and printed publications. As new media has developed, the NVFC has expanded our communications outreach to provide even more news and information via Facebook and Twitter. Now, users can stay up-to-date on current firefighter health and safety priorities through the NVFC’s B.E.S.T. blog.

The NVFC’s Health and Safety Priorities are divided into a series of B.E.S.T. practices focusing on Behavior, Equipment, Standards and Codes, and Training. The blog is dedicated to issues surrounding the B.E.S.T. practices and protecting our nation's firefighters and emergency responders.
