Never Too Much Garlic Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

5 cups - basmati Rice
-
2 tbsp. - Canola oil
-
2 - Medium onions, diced.

½ cup - garlic
-
7 ½ cups - water
-
½ bunch - parsley
Cooking Procedure

In a hot sautee pan, sautee the onion in the oil for 3-5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the rice and coat with the oil, onions and garlic.

Add the water, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce to a slow simmer, stirring frequently.

Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until all of the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let rest for ten minutes. Fluff with a fork, taste and add salt & pepper if needed.
