Ingredients:

1/4 C light butter, softened

1/2 C dark brown sugar

1/4 C Granulated sugar

1/4 C canola oil
-
1 egg
-
1 tsp vanilla
-
1/2 C all-purpose flour
-
1/2 C whole-wheat flour
-
1/2 C oats
-
1/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1/4 tsp salt
-
1/3 C dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
-
1/3 C milk chocolate chips
Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl mash together the butter and sugars until well combined.

Add the oil and egg and beat until creamy.

Mix in the vanilla and sift in the flours, cocoa powder, and salt.

Add the oats, stir in the chocolates, and mix well.

Using a tablespoon, scoop the batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 12 minutes.

Transfer to a cooling rack to cool.
