Fired Up For Fitness Challenge To Re-Launch As Part of Adopt the Program
Redesign includes expanded features, exciting rewards
The Fired Up For Fitness Challenge is undergoing a redesign to include enhanced features, exciting rewards, and a more user-friendly format. The Challenge will become part of the new Adopt the Program component of the Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program. New registrants to the Challenge are asked to wait to sign up until the re-launch. Current Challenge participants will need to re-register when the new database is launched, but they will be able to carry over their current points.
Participants who accept the new Fired Up For Fitness Challenge will be rewarded with even better incentives as certain milestones are reached. In addition, the Challenge will feature a more user-friendly database to log in fitness hours along with many additions that will help participants on the path to physical fitness and all-around heart-health.
The Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program’s new Adopt the Program component asks department members to take a pledge to get heart-healthy and provides many tools and resources to help participants succeed. In addition, it provides a way to connect with other first responders from across the country who are also embarking on the road to heart-health as well as with health experts who can provide information that can assist in the journey towards improved health and fitness. Stay tuned to the Heart-Healthy Firefighter web site and the Heart-Healthy Firefighter E-news for more information about the launch of Adopt the Program and the new Fired Up For Fitness Challenge.
Current Challenge participants who wish to proceed to the old Challenge database can still do so until the new database is launched.
