The second edition of the National Volunteer Fire Council’s (NVFC) Heart-Healthy Firefighter Cookbook received the Gold Award in the Marketing/Promotion/Book category of the 2008 MarCom Awards. The MarCom Awards program is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals from the nonprofit and private sectors. The Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.

 

“We’re proud of the Cookbook and its role in offering simple, healthy, and tasty recipes to first responders,” said Maggie Wilson, NVFC Director of Health and Safety. “We are pleased that this important resource was honored by the MarCom Awards.”
